The Truth

The concept of truth in Hebrew is not just a fragment or partial entity, but includes the entire substance, the whole.

This is depicted by The Hebrew word for truth, which is emet.

Emet is constructed of the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, the exact middle letter, and the last letter.

Truth, in Hebrew, is all-encompassing.

Christ was talking to his disciples in John 14 when he said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.”

Yeshua was talking about his words, his teachings.

He was referring to Isaiah 42 in the Hebrew Bible.

This is my servant, whom I uphold, My chosen one, in whom I delight. I have put my spirit upon him, He shall teach the true way to the Nations.

The true way to what?

The true way to connect with the spirit of the one and only living God—a real experience that produces life.

Christ said that he lived his entire life to please God the Father, and he only spoke the words that God told him to speak.

Yeshua’s life on Earth represented truth. This is the way that you connect to the true and living God.

And, we know that it’s not through religion because of the interactions that Yeshua had with the religious leaders. Their discussions offer meaning to Christ’s intentions.

Yeshua said that if one accepted his words, they accepted God, because God sent him to speak those words. A true sign of accepting his words would be to follow his teachings.

If they rejected his words, they rejected God. The Gospels are full of times that the religious leaders verbally fought against the words of Christ.

A great example occurred in the 8th chapter of the Gospel of John.

Christ was speaking to the Jews that had believed on him and then they got offended when Yeshua said,

if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed, and you will know the truth and truth shall make you free.”

Their offense came because their religion had taught them that as the descendants of Abraham, they were free already.

They were blind to the fact that they were in bondage to their religion.

Christ reasoned with them, “but now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God—this Abraham didn’t do.”

Christ continued, “you do the deeds of your father, the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

It can be deduced from this passage that the father of lies was behind the murder plot of Christ and their religious practices, and Christ was exposing it.

Yeshua was clearly delineating the two sides. His words are truth and the religious leaders were following the doctrine of a liar, of which their religious practices of priestly temple blood sacrifice were a part.

This is the sin that Christ came to reprove the world of—It is a lie to believe that you can connect to God through blood sacrificial religion.

Their religious practices were from Babylon, and they were supposed to be left behind when Abraham left Ur, but they weren’t.

And, just like Micah, Hosea, David, Isaiah, and Jeremiah, Christ called them out on it. God doesn’t want your blood sacrificial religion!

God simply wanted them to listen to Yeshua and follow his spiritual teachings, so they could truly know God.

But instead, Christ’s message of the truth uncovered who they really were, and they hated him.

When they finally succeeded in murdering the Messiah, the father of lies sought out another path to continue his deception upon the Earth.

A blood sacrificial religion based upon the human sacrifice of Christ, complete with temples, and priests/pastors quickly sprung up.

Their mantra is the biggest lie ever told. They claim to represent Christ, but do not follow his teachings.

I am lifting up Yeshua and speaking his words of truth that he spoke against the same vile spirit two thousand years ago.
