Christ often mentioned a specific day where people will enter the safety of the kingdom of God and the door will be shut, just like in the story of the ark.
During this time, there will be some rejected and cast out where there will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.
The prophets also wrote about that day thousands of years ago and they call it, the Day of the Lord.
This particular scenario is quite frightening, and unfortunately, this threat has been doled out to the people of the world by the Christian Church to condemn them if they don’t comply.
Christ came into the world not to condemn the world, but that the world through him might find that safe place or salvation.
Christians have been taught that they will be the only ones safe. Because of the teachings of Paul, they think that they only have to believe, and that it is not through works lest they should boast.
To the contrary, Christ told his disciples that on that day, they will be rewarded according to their works.
The Christian church tells the world that they are going to Hell because they have not accepted the blood sacrifice that God has offered for them.
However, that is not what Yeshua taught. He speaks of the day when he will address some who are obviously non-believers as they ask with bewilderment, “when did we give you drink, feed you, clothe you or visit you when you were sick or in prison?”
And, the Lord will reply, “if you did it to one of the least of my brethren, you did it to me.”
Who are the brethren of Christ?
In Mark 3:33-35, Christ says that my brother, my sister, and mother are those who do the will of my Father.
And, there is another group who approaches the Lord on that day and says, but Lord didn’t we prophesy in your name, cast devils in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?
And, the Lord will reply, “depart from me, I never knew you.”
Think about it.
Who is prophesying in the name of Jesus? Who is casting out devils in the name of Jesus? Who is doing what they think are mighty works in the name of Jesus?
Only Christians are doing those things.
When Christ was talking to his disciples in the Sermon on the Mount, he told the disciples that you are the salt of the Earth and if the salt has lost its savor, it is good for nothing but to be cast out.
That is the same wording of those who will be cast out into outer darkness where there will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.
It is a very serious offense to call yourself a disciple of Christ when you follow the teachings of Paul. You are an imposter.
So, what should you do?
Be honest. If you are not called by God, it is OK, but you need to stop the facade.
That’s what Christ was talking about when he said, you will give an account for every idle word on the day of judgement.
Idle in the Greek means workless, lazy, inactive.
If you are spewing out religious jargon, and calling yourself a Christian, which means Christlike, yet, you don’t even know him or his teachings, you are basically a liar.
Being a disciple is a high calling. Many are called, few are chosen. You don’t call yourself, God calls you.
How can you know if you are called or do His will unless you know his voice?
True disciples are the ones who study under a master and practice the teachings of the master. It is similar to the martial arts.
The master is Christ, not Paul.
There is a lot of responsibility in being a disciple. It is not a free ride.
Christ taught that before you accept the assignment, count the cost and see if you have the resources to complete the mission. He likens it to a military leader that is going off to war. Do you have enough soldiers to win the battle?
And, many that call themselves Christians have not been called by God to be a disciple. They have merely bought into Paul’s free gift plan.
God is in the process of calling disciples to truly know God, walk in the pathway of Christ, and become just like him, and ANYONE who blesses them, blesses Christ.
No sinners’ prayers, no baptism, no joining churches, and no learning their doctrines. That is all religious nonsense.
Those teachings are from Babylon, and God is going to destroy that tower.
It’s time to be honest and look in the mirror. Are you called to be a disciple of Christ or are you merely a disciple of Paul?
However, the biggest question is, will you bless those who answer the call of the disciple, or will you call them Beelzebub like the religious leaders called Christ?
Not everyone has to be a disciple, but there are two distinct sides and everyone will eventually pick a side.
That is what the Day of the Lord is about, the showdown between the Spirit of God and the imposter, the spirit of religion.
