It has been eleven months since Hamas hailed a brutal assault on Israeli civilians who were enjoying the reprieve of a music concert.
One minute, the concert goers where being enraptured by the music, and the next, they were being slain in the streets by bands of violent creatures devoid of a soul.
The attackers, who claim to be the children of Abraham, have allowed their hearts to become filled with a degree of hatred that is not even fathomable to a normal person.
On that day, their goal was to kill as many Israelis upon whom their AK-47s would shower their bullets upon.
Some survived by hiding among the dead bodies. However, they now have to live and be forever plagued by what they witnessed.
Women were raped, and their genitals were mutilated. Their perpetrators cut off breasts, tossing them into the streets for their depraved tribesmen to play with.
Israel, also being the descendants of Abraham, wanted revenge, understandably, even though they are brothers.
The attack was unprovoked and heinous atrocities were committed against their people.
Israel retaliated with fury. The goal being, to completely annihilate the enemy and in doing so, innocent civilians are being massacred.
From an article published in August 2024 by AP World News, approximately 6,000 women and exactly 10,627 innocent children had been killed by Israeli military forces at the time the article was written. There have been so many more since then.
Allies have shown concern for Israel’s blatant disregard for following the “rules of war.” However, the mayhem continues, and is actually escalating.
Interestingly, both groups are believed to be the biological descendants of Abraham, yet neither of these groups act like Abraham.
Jesus pointed this out to the Jewish religious leaders two thousand years ago when they proclaimed:
Abraham is our father, and Jesus replied unto them, if you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.
But now, you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this Abraham did not do. (John 8:39-40)
And, these two groups are not the only ones related to Abraham that are making the news.
Christians believe that they are the spiritual descendants of Abraham by being graphed in by their faith in Christ.
Therefore, it stands to reason that Jesus would say the same thing to them.
If you are Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.
Abraham is a man who heard the voice of something greater than himself, a force that he called the Most High God.
Abraham followed instructions to walk away from a culture that was religiously saturated, and was sacrificing animals and humans to multiple gods.
Abraham believed God when he was told that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky, and that they would eventually inhabit the land of Canaan, which is Israel.
He was not a violent, angry man. Abraham simply walked with God.
So, let’s take a look at how Christians are making the news.
Almost four years ago, a group gathered at the white house with President Trump leading a rally which appeared to be a church gathering.
There were people praying in front of a huge rugged cross. A man was photographed clutching an oversized bible tightly against his chest. Multiple banners were waved, with the words “Jesus Saves.”
And, a popular evangelical preacher was present.
Then, this supposed prayer meeting turned into a vicious riot against our Capital, which ended up killing innocent people along the way, and injuring over a hundred police officers.
Several police officers ended up committing suicide in the wake of the trauma they endured that day.
Even these trained officers who are accustomed to violence and bloody crime scenes were so disturbed that they were compelled to end their own lives.
It was beyond belief that a group who claims to represent Christ would commit such a violent and heinous crime against our Capital.
One would think that the incident that was clearly instigated by Donald Trump would have led to a spiritual awakening. It is perplexing that we did not see huge numbers of Christians publicly renouncing that degenerate mob, and pointing out that those savages do not represent Christ in any way shape or form.
Christians, you are guilty by association, whether you like it or not.
One would think that after witnessing the deplorable act committed by your peers, that one would want to wash their robes clean and buy oil for their lamps before it is too late.
But, no.
Here we are almost four years later, and Mr. Trump is taking another shot at the white house, and guess who are his biggest supporters?
The Evangelical Christians, except for a small cohort.
Mega churches with massive congregations are calling him the anointed of God, and calling his opponent, Kamala Harris, a woman who practices witchcraft and that demons speak through her mouth.
And, as icing on the cake, their “prophets” are prophesying words supposedly from God in favor of Donald Trump that sway the masses.
Christ taught that you will know a tree by its fruit; a thornbush cannot produce grapes or you cannot gather figs from thistles.
Christians, you better hope that Jesus is not coming back today. Because, this group of people that you are associated with is a prime example of what Christ was talking about when he said,
Many will say to me on that day, but Lord, Lord didn’t we cast out demons in your name? Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we do many great things in your name?
And, I will reply, depart from me, you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.
Jesus taught that Abraham will sit down in the kingdom of God with all the prophets and that some of the children who were supposed to be present will be cast out.
Children of Abraham, are you doing the works of your father?
