Babylon

When I was in the church, every time I heard a sermon on the end times, whether it was from the pulpit or TBN, the unsaved world was referred to as Babylon.

In chapter 18 of Revelation, the demise of Babylon is announced by an angel in the heavens who proclaims with a mighty and strong voice:

“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”

I was taught that this represented the destruction of the wicked world and only the Christians would be saved.

As God led us out of the Church, I discovered the truth, and over the last three decades God has shown me what Babylon really is.

In 2006, God spoke to my heart to write a book, entitled, Remnants of Ur. The book was to cover God’s views on blood sacrifice.

At that time, I began to gather information from the Bible, encyclopedias, articles on archeology, and from every legitimate resource that I could find.

As I studied the culture from where Abram was called out, I began to see some very stark similarities between the Mesopotamian religious culture and the modern day Charismatic Christian Church.

Babylon was a city in Mesopotamia and a neighboring city to Ur, which was the birthplace of Abram.

The temple of Babylon was grand and elaborate. The Priests were renown.

Like many pastors, their high priests were famous for their powerful sermons, and they drew huge crowds to hear what the Gods were saying to the people.

Not only did they hold power over the masses, their priests, like our modern-day mega church pastors, were extremely wealthy.

And, the basis of their religion was the belief that the God’s required blood to be appeased.

It was actually shocking to find out that all the data I discovered fit together perfectly, like a huge puzzle that revealed a clear picture.

As I studied, it became very apparent that God has been trying to communicate to humans for four thousand years.

The invisible spirit who communicated with Abram, who communicated with the prophets, who sent his chosen one, Yeshua, has been trying to tell us that He does not want blood sacrifice.

Humans, on the other hand, have been determined to hang on to that primal practice of sacrifice to a higher being, and they shroud it in the beautiful purple robe of religion.

I’m here to shout from the rooftop, that God did not orchestrate the death of Christ and He does not need or want blood!

Men, full of the love of religion, murdered the Messiah.

And then Paul, being a Pharisee, took the death of Christ and transposed him into an unblemished sacrificial lamb, packaged up as the ultimate sacrifice needed to remediate all of mankind.

This started a whole new blood sacrificial religion, that is based upon the human sacrifice of Christ.

This is Babylonian religious doctrine and it was supposed to be left behind when Abram was called out of that culture.

Christ was not a sacrificial lamb. He was the chosen one of God to teach the way to the nations (Isaiah 42, Hebrew Bible).

Yeshua’s purpose was to redeem us from religion so we could truly know God, our Father.

In Hosea 7:13, he writes a word from the Lord regarding this. “Woe unto them! For they have fled from Me. Destruction unto them because they have transgressed against Me. Though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies about Me.”

Christians, when you say that God sacrificed his son for our sins, you are speaking a lie, the lie that you have been taught by your religious leaders who embrace Babylonian doctrine.

God’s people have been enticed into temples by priests who call themselves pastors who derive their wealth from the hordes of hungry sheep who show up to hear what God is saying. Yet, they are fed lies.

It has been two thousand years that Christians have been led down this crooked path, and I’m here to tell you that God’s anger is building.

In chapter 42:13-15 of the Hebrew Bible, Isaiah foresaw this day and he wrote:

The Lord goes forth like a warrior, like a fighter He whips up his rage. He yells, He roars aloud, He charges upon His enemies. I have kept silent far too long, kept still and restrained Myself.

Now, I will scream like a woman in labor, I will pant and gasp. Hills and heights will I scorch, cause all their green to wither; I will turn rivers into isles, and dry the marshes up.

It is time to abandon those temples and seek the kingdom of God.

The Christian Church is Babylon. The angel announcing the fall of Babylon in chapter 18 of Revelation is speaking about the coming judgement of the Christian Church.

After the angel makes the announcement, it is written in verse 4,

And, I heard another voice from heaven saying, come out of her my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

This passage is not calling God’s people out of the world. It is calling His people out of the Church.
