If you have read any of my other blog posts, you may get the feeling that I hate religion, so let me explain.
In 1992, God called my husband and me out of the Christian church. We walked away from religion in order to obey God.
Despite the push back from Christians, we knew that we were doing the will of our Father. So, we kept walking.
In 2006, God spoke to my heart and said, “I want you to write a book entitled, Remnants of Ur.” I knew that the purpose of the book was to tell others about how God feels regarding blood sacrifice.
It took me fifteen years to research, ponder on, and articulate exactly what God wanted me to say. In the process, I learned SO much about the Jewish and Christian religions.
Am I against all religions?
First of all, I am not against the people of any religion.
The Jewish people did not kill the Messiah, but rather, men who loved religion more than the compassionate spirit that Christ displayed, murdered him.
And, I am not against the Christian people who are trying their hardest to please the Lord as they believe they are doing the best they know how to do.
My focus is on the Christian religious structure.
For one, I know their doctrine through and through; I cut my teeth in an Assembly of God church nursery.
Secondly, I believe that it is my God given job to inform the world about the major error that the Christian religion is making.
They are leading 2.3 billion followers down the wrong path. Their doctrine is NOT based upon the teachings of Christ.
Rather, they hold Christ captive. The world only knows the Christian version of Jesus, the one who shouts, “if you don’t accept me, you are going to Hell.”
That, is the spirit that I am coming against in my writings. I actually have a difficult time blessing that enemy, but I do.
So, what about other religions?
Let’s look at Buddha’s religion. It is more of a philosophy than a religion, no Gods, no blood sacrifice, no religious paraphernalia, just teachings on spiritual self-improvement, nice.
Buddha would have loved Christ, Gandhi did, Mohamed did.
Interestingly, the descendants of Ishmael who formed the Muslim religion consider Christ a prophet and don’t practice ritual blood sacrifice, even though they are an Abrahamic religion.
One could argue that they do sacrifice every year during Mecca, but those animals are eaten, and the remainders are given to the poor. The animals aren’t offered up as a gift to God.
Rather, the Muslim people offer up prayers five times a day. That’s their sacrifice, and they aren’t standing on the corner telling the world that they are going to Hell.
Interesting thing about Ishmael, the Bible says that he grew up to be an archer.
Spiritually speaking that means Ismael was able to hit the mark on a target.
The Hebrew word for sin is to “miss” the mark.
So, is that a plug to join the Muslim religion?
No, but the Christian religion needs to quit telling them that they are going to Hell.
Instead of pointing the finger at them, let’s work on giving up the belief that God slaughtered his son, as a human sacrifice for the benefit of mankind—there’s your problem.
It is not religion, per se, but the hateful spirit that is projected from certain institutions that vie for power and wealth over people.
That is the force that I speak against, so I’ll keep writing as long as God wants me to.
