Who can Describe His Abode?

I began blogging 3 weeks ago, and have written 16 blog posts. They just keep coming, so I’m letting it flow.

I am discovering so much as I write. Many times, I sit down with an idea of the direction a blog is going to go, and it takes a sharp turn, completely surprising me.

I think of myself as a conduit, a vessel to let the Lord flow through me and be his ink on a page.

As I write, I also am discovering who my intended audience is. It is everyone.

I have so much to say to the wayward Christian Church, and I know that there are plenty of non-believers who would cheer to see someone finally standing up to the bully.

As much as I feel a strong calling to address the wrongs being done by the Christian doctrine, my main desire is to show to the world who Jesus really is.

And, in lifting up the ensign of the true Christ, hopefully, it will cause Christians to evaluate their own paths.

There are many well-meaning Christians who crusade the teachings of Paul throughout the world, and they really don’t even know Christ. They do not understand his teachings.

They have been taught that you only have to have faith in the name of Jesus to get into the pearly gates.

It’s peculiar, because Jesus was not even his name. His Hebrew name was Yeshua and since the New Testament was not written in Hebrew, the name had to be altered, because there is no Y or SH in Greek.

It doesn’t matter anyway, because Revelation records that when Jesus returns, he will have a new name that no one knows but him. So, if you’re really attached to the name of Jesus and are lifting it up because Paul taught you to do that, you may want to reconsider.

What should we be lifting up?

The spiritual teachings of Christ.

Didn’t Christ say that he who hears these words of mine and does them is like a wise man who built his house upon a solid rock, and when the storms come, the house will stand.

Jesus never taught to believe on his name, rather he said that if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples (John 8:31). And, this was spoken to Jews who already believed on him.

Paul really did lead generations of people completely off course.

We have 4 Gospels that give us a glimpse into the life and teachings of the Messiah. Why in the world would anyone follow another’s teachings who came after Christ?

That is not even logical thinking.

Who are we going to listen to, the very Messiah, or a guy who got blinded on the road to Damascus who was on a mission to kill followers of Yeshua?

When Christ was murdered, he was just getting started and his esoteric words were left in the sepulcher. It is clear from the recordings of his disciples’ actions and words that they never got the meaning of Christ’s teachings, so they were lost.

A much easier to understand doctrine quickly sprung up, which loudly proclaimed salvation through faith in Jesus. The new movement was full of emotional extravaganza, and it easily mimicked a move of God by the uproar of voices worshiping the name of Jesus, like some kind of idol.

However, no one, or at least, no one with a voice knew who Yeshua really was or had intimate understanding of what Christ really meant.

Isaiah writes about this particular dilemma in chapter 53 of the Hebrew Bible. He asks a question as he sees a vision of the Messiah.

Who could describe his abode? For he was cut off from the land of the living.

This passage is powerful because Isaiah knew that this man who he envisioned was the chosen one to teach the true way to the nations.

Isaiah saw him being “cut off,” which means murdered.

Isaiah then asked the crucial question, if the chosen one is cut off, then who can describe his abode or stated plainly, who knows him well enough behind closed doors to carry on his mission?

It is clear that his disciples didn’t. They were still asking Christ to translate parables, and were not being able to connect with the Father to learn how to cast a demon out of a tormented child.

They were not connecting, because they were spiritual fledglings ingrained with religious teachings from their youth . It would’ve taken decades to shed those teachings that were so apart of their culture. The disciples were lost when their master was suddenly removed and they floundered.

And, we are going to trust that they built a kingdom based upon the teachings of Christ and that their kingdom is on the right path?

Really, stop and think about it.

The disciples did not know him well enough behind closed doors to carry on the mission. The woman with the alabaster box did hear from God, but NO ONE listened to women in the first century, so that was futile.

And, by the 4th century, Roman Bishops had taken the reins to choose the canon and decide for you which writings were to comprise the Christian Bible with Paul’s writings being favored above all.

And, to make matters worse, the Roman Church burned all other manuscripts compiled by the followers of Yeshua that didn’t line up with Paul’s doctrine.

And that is the book that Christian’s idolize as being 100% from the mouth of God—end of subject.

So, who can describe his abode?

I can.
