In chapter 136 of Psalms (Hebrew Bible), David writes a beautiful passage of praise to the Lord.
Praise the Lord; for He is good, His steadfast love is eternal. Praise the God of gods, His steadfast love is eternal. Praise the Lord of lords, His steadfast love is eternal…
In this passage, David is worshiping God, the God that Abraham called the Most High, the one that the prophets called the Lord of Hosts, and the one that Christ called Father.
Jesus says in Mark 12:29, “The first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.”
There is only one God and it will never change.
So, has God ordained the worship of Jesus to be placed as highest of all, even above Himself?
In Philippians 2:9, Paul writes that God has highly exalted Jesus and has given him a name above every name. He also expresses this thought in 1 Timothy 6:15, calling Christ the King of kings, and Lord of lords.
Paul’s influence has led Christian doctrine to adopt the worship of Jesus above all other names. In churches all around the world, people are lifting up praise to Jesus, because that is what they’ve been taught that God wants.
In Revelation chapter 19, the angel tells John, “worship God!”
Paul failed to stress in his letters that Christ has been given a name above every other human’s name and is second only to God the Father.
Christ said that he was going to sit at the right hand of the Father. He never taught that he was going to take God’s place.
Isaiah 42:8 in the Hebrew Bible records: I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not yield my glory to another, Nor My renown to idols.
As mentioned in the blog post, Poisonous Idol, Christian doctrine has made an idol out of the Bible. Because of the teachings of Paul, it is revered as if every word is straight from the mouth of God.
Paul’s writings have also contributed to Jesus being worshiped in the fashion of an idol, when God clearly said upon the mount of transfiguration what we should do with Christ. God said, “this is my son, hear him.”
The highest form of worship involves obedience, not simply lifting of the hands toward heaven and shouting praises.
Yeshua said, “why do you call me Lord, Lord and do NOT the things that I say?”
Christ receives the highest honor when those who follow his teachings enter into to a spiritual relationship with God, hear God’s voice, and do the will of God, just like Christ did.
Christ came to show us how to spiritually connect to our father, and religion has turned him into a God.
In the book of Revelation, it is mentioned twice that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords, but unlike Paul, this title is clarified by the happenings around the throne.
John records that there is a throne in heaven with one sitting upon it. He is not able to describe the entity, because of the brilliant red light and flashes of lightening radiating from the throne which is encircled by an emerald rainbow.
We know that it is God by the words and actions of the elders seated in front of the throne. It is mentioned eight times in Revelation that they offer up praise and worship to the one on the throne who created all things and lives forever.
In the right hand of the one on the throne is a book with seven seals, and the question is asked about who is worthy to open the book.
Revelation records that no man in heaven, nor in Earth, neither under the Earth was able to open the book, and John wept because no man was found worthy.
One of the elders reassured John and let him know that there was one that was found worthy, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book.
Then, John saw a Lamb appear as if it had been slain, in the midst of the throne with the four beasts and elders.
The term slain is translated as violently murdered.
If Christ was a sacrificial lamb, then the word slain would not have been used.
When an animal is offered up as a sacrifice, the term slaughtered was used, and the animal was treated gently by a shochet. The blood was neatly drained out into a vessel, not left saturating the animal.
Interestingly, this Lamb before the throne appears in the same condition as he was on the day of his crucifixion, a bloody mess.
This depiction is very important. We see God on the throne being worshiped, the mutilated Lamb as a second entity apart from God, and the Lamb being the only one found worthy among humans who can open the book.
It is ONLY after Christ took the book out of the hand of God that he is worshiped. The four beasts and twenty-four elders honored him by falling down before him, having every one of them harps, and golden vials of incense, which are the prayers of the saints, and they sang a new song.
You are worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof, for you were slain and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
Christians have been taught that his blood was a sacrifice for the sins of humanity—NO
His blood was spilled in plain sight for the whole world to see that the enemy is the spirit of religion. The slaying of Christ blatantly exposed the evil force that has kept humanity bound for thousands of years.
Christ’s mission was to redeem us from the bondage of religion, so we could be free to spiritually know our Father.
Although, he was spiritually one with with God, he never claimed to be God.
Instead, Yeshua says in John chapter 14, “my Father is greater than I.”
When Yeshua was turned into a religion based upon his death that was said to be orchestrated by God for the benefit of the world, Yeshua was elevated to the godhead by Paul’s teachings.
I’m here to tell that God is NOT happy with the Christian doctrine. In fact, He is beyond angry.
God’s people have been lured into a blood sacrificial religion that teaches them to worship Jesus, like some kind of an idol, while Christ’s teachings are replaced with the writings of Paul.
Your pastors/priests, in their lavish temples, teach you that the brutal murder of Christ was a human sacrifice which was necessary for humans to connect with God.
And, the final blow is that they teach that God was in on the plan of the heinous demise of his beloved servant who was so close to God that he was considered a son.
Wake up church, you are Babylon with your priestly leaders, temples, blood sacrifice, and idols.
God is still the most high, and it is His voice that can be heard In the eighteenth chapter of Revelation as an angel flies through the heavens announcing the fall of Babylon and proclaiming her judgement.
And, another voice can be heard saying, “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE, so you won’t receive her plagues.
